I have been using a mouse for over 15 years, even with laptops, but it all changed with MacBook Pro’s trackpad. I got so used to it that now it seems strange to “operate” the mouse.
My new MacBook Pro 16” came with a technical issue (2 of the 4 thunderbolt ports were not working) and I have been using it like that hoping this pandemic situation will end soon and I will have it repaired in a decent time frame then, not “up to 6 weeks because of covid…”.
But a few weeks ago it just gave up, got into Kernel panic and needed its Logic Board replaced.
So I got it in service and been told it will take “a while”, so I bought a pre-awned iMac 27″ for the time being.
It came with a keyboard and a mouse…a mouse with a wire attached on it…I used to have one of those when I was a kid…many many years ago.
Luckily I still have my own Apple Magic Mouse 2, wireless, and with gestures enabled or whatever it’s called (can swipe on it and so on).
I then started my work (boring architectural drawings & stuff) and realised my wrist feels odd and I was making noise with the mouse while I had to repeatedly lift it as it was going too much to the left/right when scrolling/panning, etc.
So I bought this trackpad 2 and everything just got better.
Now I got my MacBook Pro laptop back and I am still using this trackpad as it is way more comfortable to have it placed wherever I want 😎.
P.S.: This video is not sponsored by Apple…yet.
Tim Cook, if you see this, I am open for business 😜
