I got bored of my existing desk and I decided it’s time for a change. I have been looking at the sit-stand desks for a while now as I know it’s not good to sit down all day long.
I never really considered motorised desks due to their price tag which I have always thought it’s sky high and therefore not for me, but I did not actually check the prices before and I remember I only saw one manual one in Ikea a couple of years ago and the price was something like £400+ ($565) and I assumed the electric ones are in the double region.
I now did some online research for a couple of hours and saw that these desks are not that expensive (or no longer that expensive) and I also found out you can buy the frame and the table/desk top separate.
So I searched for the cheapest options because I had no planned budget for this project and got the frame for £165 ($230) and the table top for £29 ($40).
For £194 ($270) I got a dual motor electric desk, which is not bad at all.
